Easter.

I hope everyone had a lovely Easter.

It didn't even feel like Easter to me, just another Sunday, except husband and I dressed up (I may have convinced him to wear a bow tie, it was darling).

There wasn't a big Easter dinner, our family wasn't together for maybe more than 30 minutes, plus the weather was extra gloomy that day. We went to the early church service and when we got home there were 150 cupcakes waiting to be frosted. Like I said, just another Sunday.

Husband made out nicely in the gifts department. Actually not even gifts but this weekend in general was all about him. TONS of new clothes, he is all set for summer now, 2 new PS3 games, new books, shoes...and the list goes on. He didn't get me anything but I am 100% ok with this because I will just go buy goodies for our home and call it my present AND there is a new wedding ring in my future. I AM SO SO EXCITED. I know it's just a ring but the moment I saw it I fell in love.

I have been working like crazy in my shop because next week I have a photo-shoot for my catalog (EEP!) and I will be doing a desert table next weekend for a business launch party. So much to do over the next couple weeks but it will be completely worth it in the end.

First attempt at making "grass" with frosting.

Road-trip!

Ok maybe road-trip is a bit of an exaggeration, BUT I did take a little trip north in a GIANT 12 passenger van to pick up 6 of these little beauties (only $50, um yes please).

I was beyond excited when I found them online... I may have squealed. Over the past couple months I had given up hope on ever finding chairs like this and had resolved to making Parsons chairs myself. They will soon be ivory, to match this table, with pretty new fabric and I'm thinking navy with a geometric pattern.

To pick up my amazing find I had to go north which meant I had to pass Utah's only theme park. Yeah it's not the most impressive and yes you might be risking your life on every ride but it does the job. Once it starts getting warmer I plan to drag Husby up there a couple times a month to get my roller coaster fix.

Tonight I am planning my vegetable garden and it is going to be awe.some. Planter boxes with twinkle lights overhead, maybe some chairs and a fire pit in the middle, I think yes. I also think this will not be an epic fail like last year. Poor, sad, little garden didn't last a week, but the general consensus is that I planted to early. That mistake will not be made this year, and my garden will THRIVE... or at least it will look pretty.

Love.

P.S. I can't wait until we start decorating and remodeling our little home, I have BIG BIG plans. After it's all done I may never ever want to leave.

Busy Bee.

This week has been super busy. I don't know where my time has gone. I have so many orders (I'm not complaining I am over the moon about this) but sometimes I get overwhelmed.

This is only two of the 70 stacks that are in my shop of orders waiting to be assembled.

I decided that I needed a break so I headed out to TJ Maxx and now I really really can't wait until I build this and put my new extra adorable flamingo salt and pepper shakers on it.

Sorry about the iPhone pictures I still haven't decided what kind of camera I want to buy, but I promise I'm getting there.

BIG shop news is coming soon and I'm so so excited to share it. I finally feel like my little dream is coming
true and I'm pretty much on cloud 9.

Hello to all of my new followers and I hope we can be friends!

Have a lovely evening.

Much Love.

In Bloom.

Spring made an appearance today. It was an absolutely lovely day, so my favorite puppy and
I took a walk around the neighborhood.

The pear and cherries trees are starting to bloom and I LOVE the view of the mountains that we have.

P.S. This music is magical.

Dear Dog.

Dog:

If you chew up one more pair of my shoes, destroy another hot tub cover or get your muddy footprints all over my duvet cover one more time, I might just have to sell you. Ok, you know I really wouldn't sell you but seriously start behaving, you are driving me crazy.

Sincerely,

Me

Books.

Today while I walking past the boxes of books that still have yet to be unpacked, I decided I need to make more of an effort to read. As I started sifting through them I found so many that have never been opened. Fingers and toes crossed I might actually pick one of these up instead of watching  Arrested Development before bed, but it is the best show ever. Am I right? Or am I right?
