A little while ago I was asked by Jenny from Crossing the Bugger Dixon Line to send a cake plate for a magazine shoot she was doing. Her blog and party ideas were lovely so I sent a lime green one on it's way. Well the magazine is done and full so super cute ideas that I've looked it over too many times to count. You can check it out here and my cake stand is on pages 127/128.

Goodbye August. Hello September.

I'm still at my parents where the weather is already cool and the leaves are changing. Fall is in the air and I can't wait until it finally arrives in Utah.

Now that it's the 1st, the official birthday countdown has begun. Husby and I turn 26 in a couple weeks (we are two days apart) cra-zay! We will both have the week off and I see camping, hiking and lake time in my future, and hopefully country dancing. Husband if you are reading this I think we should have birthday weekend, celebrate mine on Friday and your's on Saturday. So you should probably plan for everybody to go dancing that night, and by you I mean I'm not going to do anything but show up. Please and thank you.

I'm off to finish the 500 invitations I am working on for my friends wedding, they are taking for.ev.er.

Birthday's to celebrate (Happy Birthday twin brothers!).

Portland.

For the next two weeks I am up at my parents in Washington, it is going to be lovely. 

This weekend will be full of family time and birthdays. My twin brothers turn 23....that is just crazy to me. 

I'm in charge of making the cake/cupcakes tomorrow and I have no idea what I'm going to do. 

When my brother picked my up from the airport today we spent a couple hours in downtown Portland. Portland might just be my favorite city, I love everything about it and maybe one day I can convince husby to live there again. 

Craft Lake City.

First of all, hello to all of my new friends! Second, this last weekend was Craft Lake City and while it was fun, I'm relieved it's over. The week before is a blur because so much was going on trying to get ready for Saturday. There was furniture to be painted, cake plates to make, and decorations had to be finalized.  Misso and I shared a booth, which meant we go to spend the whole day together and we always have a good time. We had a good spot right by the main stage so there was quite a bit of traffic plus we had music to listen to all day long. It was a lovely day but like I said I'm happy it's over, now onto then next task, planning Jenny's wedding which is going to be amazing! I will share details as it starts to come together.

Aren't Misso's necklaces, prints and embroidery hoops so super cute?! I love them all and think I need to buy a couple hoops from her for my bedroom. 

Pineview.

Yesterday Husband and I spent the afternoon at Pineview Reservoir. The weather was perfect and the lake was beautiful. We have decided to make it a after church tradition and I can't wait to go back! 

 Husband + Diet Coke + Martha +Real Simple = Perfect Afternoon.
